Free $100 Account: Try a Prop Firm Without a Fee

Published · 4 min read

How the Prop Hub welcome account works: $100 for 3 days with no deposit, live Polymarket markets and a one-time real-money profit payout.

Right after you sign up, Prop Hub opens a $100 welcome account. You pay nothing: no fee, no deposit, no crypto wallet. It trades the same Polymarket markets as the paid challenges, and you can withdraw its profit once in real money.

What the account is

Balance$100 of virtual capital
Duration3 days from opening
Drawdownequity stays above $50, at most 50% below the start
Profit payoutonce, from $5 to $100

Trading works exactly as on every other account: live Polymarket prices and order books, the same market categories, the same fees. Orders fill against the real book, and positions settle on Polymarket’s results.

Why it exists

So you can see the platform and the rules in action before deciding whether to pay for a challenge. Three days are enough to learn the essentials: how outcome prices move in crypto windows and during matches, how an order fills in a thin book, how much the fee takes, and how fast equity reacts to open positions.

It isn’t a lucky giveaway. To withdraw profit you need to trade over several days and not rest the whole result on a single event.

The drawdown rule

There’s one limit, and it’s simpler than on the challenge: equity can’t fall below $50. The floor is set from the starting $100 and doesn’t rise with profit. There’s no daily limit.

Before every buy the system checks the worst case. If the position settling at zero would push equity below the floor, the order isn’t accepted. If equity does reach the floor, the account closes.

The $50 floor is set from the start and doesn’t rise with profit. Profit above $100 can be withdrawn once.

How to withdraw profit

If the balance grows above $100, you can withdraw the difference while the account is active:

  1. Close your open positions; a request can’t be filed with them.
  2. On the account page click Withdraw and enter the amount, coin, network and wallet address.
  3. The team reviews your trades. After that you have 7 days to complete identity verification.
  4. Once KYC is done, the payout goes out in USDT or USDC and the welcome account closes.

The amount is from $5 up to your profit, capped at $100. It’s a one-time withdrawal.

Conditions that get checked

  • Several trading days. You need trades on at least 2 different days (UTC).
  • Profit isn’t one event. Profit from a single event can’t exceed 30% of the total. An event means all of its markets: match outcomes, lines, price levels. Each up/down window counts as its own event.
  • Verification deadline. Miss KYC within 7 days of the trade review and the payout is cancelled and the account closes. You get reminders two days and one day before the deadline.
  • One account per person. Multiple accounts to collect several bonuses break the rules, and payouts from them aren’t processed.

Until the conditions are met, the account page shows what’s still missing.

What this account doesn’t do

The welcome account never turns into a funded account, even at +30% or more. It’s a separate trial. After 3 days it closes and any profit you haven’t withdrawn is gone. A day before it expires you’ll get an email if there’s something to withdraw.

Getting the most out of three days

A plan that gives you the most information before buying a challenge:

  • Day 1. A few small trades across categories: a 15-minute crypto window, a match, a daily market. Look at the book before buying and at your final fill price.
  • Day 2. Pick the category you understand best and stay in it. Keep position size small so one miss doesn’t eat half your room to the floor.
  • Day 3. Close positions, review the results trade by trade and decide which challenge size suits you.

If you’d rather practise on paid-challenge rules, there’s also a $10,000 demo account for 3 days: it uses the challenge target and drawdowns, but there’s no payout. Details are in the Help Center.

FAQ

Do I need to deposit or add a card?

No. The account opens at sign-up with no payment and no wallet.

Can I withdraw more than $100?

No, that’s the cap for the one-time welcome payout. Larger payouts come from a funded account after the challenge.

What if I don't withdraw within 3 days?

The account closes and unwithdrawn profit is lost. File the request while the account is active.

Why does a payout require verification?

So the money reaches a real person, once. Identity checks protect against multiple accounts and fraud.
